This is one of my mom’s favorite quotes…this is for all those who may be going through chemotherapy treatments (we love you, Carol!), the loss of a loved one, dealing with an illness, a heartbreak, financial burden….who would give anything for a normal day: scrubbing the toilets, puttering around the house, folding laundry, changing diapers, washing dishes, running kids around, making dinner…
because that would be too hard.
I just wanted to take the space box down. I found a fixture on Overstock to replace it, (it reminded me of this $200 PB one)
my kitchen spices were out of control. Sooo, I took my leftover ornament hook tins and glued a magnet on the back of each one and put 8 of my most used spices in them.
More wannabe labels are made by typing them up and printing them out on plain white paper, cut them up, put a piece of satin gift wrap tape over the top of them. They stick to the side of my fridge because we have one of those cool fridges with the pretend stainless on the front and black regular fridge on the side.
I forgot to take a before, but just imagine chaos: grocery bags with medicine stashed, a bunch of empty dollar store shoebox containers, towels and sheets stuffed in, etc.
Here are a few things I love to use when organizing:
* dollar store plastic shoe boxes. They contain and stack. And they are $1 each. Is it driving you crazy that the colors on the bottom bins are reversed? I did it on purpose to drive you type A girls crazy. (not really…I just barely noticed)
Here it is one year ago: remember hoarder garage??
Here it is after our purge (in the bitter wind and snow!)
